Our holiday home is set in the lovely village of Plaka, about a 7-minute walk from the village centre. Here you’ll find a handful of friendly taverns, small bars, and mini-markets, perfect for relaxed evenings and easy meals. From the house, there are beautiful views across the Mediterranean, the Souda Peninsula, and the village below.

Almirida, a popular seaside spot, is around a 15-minute walk away. It offers two long beaches along with a good selection of restaurants, cafés, and shops. The walk back is a bit uphill, so it takes slightly longer on the return

The house itself is around 95 sqm, plus generous outdoor areas. The terraces total roughly 120 sqm, including a 30 sqm roof terrace. On the main terrace, you’ll find a private swimming pool (3 x 5 m), ideal for cooling off during the day.

The house has an open-plan living and kitchen area, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a garage. There is air conditioning in the living room and all bedrooms, and underfloor heating in both bathrooms and the living area for the cooler months.

Two of the bedrooms have double beds, built-in wardrobes, and large patio doors with mosquito screens. The third bedroom has a family bunk bed, suitable for two adults or up to three children.

The main terrace is set up for outdoor living, with a large dining table for eight, a comfortable sofa area, and sunbeds. The roof terrace offers a more relaxed space with additional seating, perfect for a quiet drink in the evening.

There is also access to a shared pool area, which includes a larger pool and a separate children’s pool.
